1968 Johnson Surfer w/ Chevy 283 10/6/2023

 I have a 19 foot 1968 Johnson Surfer boat - model 444205L. This is a project boat with lots of potential. I inherited this boat with no titles or registration, no tires or any knowledge of its history. The boat is now registered with Colorado Parks and Wildlife with a new hull ID. Also, the trailer has been registered and title is in hand. It has 4 brand new tires on the trailer and a good spare. The trailer is beefy and has trailer brakes. The trailer has a 6 pin connector but I got a 7 blade adapter that comes with the boat and the electrical has been tested and works properly. The boat engine is an inboard stern drive OMC TU-17R and probably needs rebuilt. The engine is basically a Chevy 4.6L 283 cubic inch motor with waterproof alternator, starter, carburetor, and distributor. The interior definitely needs some love but the hull and fiberglass is solid. It doesn't have a battery but does come with original ignition and keys. $600.

Multiple OMC Boats and Outdrives 10/3/2023

I live in Minneapolis and my father who passed away recently had 4 vintage boats in poor condition. My great uncle was William C. Scott and my dad worked for OMC when my uncle was president.

They obviously had great value to my father and I would hate to have them hauled and destroyed if there was someone out there who would want them or could use the parts.

I am wondering if you know of any salvage place that might be interested in the whole lot. There are also multiple stern drives and other components that he has stored. I would prefer they went to someone who wanted to restore them or who could use the parts. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also, he restored a 1975 65ft Mattie Houseboat and lived on it for the last 25 years. We are also trying to sell that if you know anyone who wants to live on the Mississippi River year round :)

I have attached some photos (I would take more thorough photos before I would post them anywhere). The 1970 Sportsman has a rebuilt engine but the other boats do not run and have been exposed to weather for several years and the trailer tires are flat. I am assuming that the parts are all OMC / Johnson but I am not sure how to verify that.

My dad lived with my uncle Bill and aunt Pauline in Whitefish Bay WI when Bill was president of OMC. My dad was in his 20s and his job was to test drive boats on Lake Michigan. His ultimate career was in banking but he never had a better job than that in his mind. My brother and I grew up driving a variety of old OMC boats as my dad never owned anything else. We both live in the city now and don't have the space (or if I'm honest, skills) to take on a boat restoration project.

1971 Chris Craft Sea Sport Gull Wing 16 8/6/2023

 For Sale: 1971 Chrus Craft Seat Sport Gull Wing 16(V6-Omc Sterndrive) boat and original trailer. Iam selling this package for the original owners who purchased the boat new from Watercraft Sales in Three Lakes, Wi. Boat was used every season until 2013, when it was used, winterized and then stored until a couple of months ago when we got it out. When the boat was last used everything works great and there were no issues. The owners are selling the boat as it is now, not used since 2013. It will probally need a full tune up(ignition cap, rotor, plugs, plugs) and possibly a fuel system look over or clean-out. There are no other issues or such that the sellers are aware of they guarantee that there is nothing seriously wrong with the boat. Boat is in good shape for its age and is extremely well built, but does have some straches and scuffs and some general wear here and there. Boat still has a shine to it and is very clean inside. Boat will come with its original good bimini top, spare prop, storage cover and all of the original paperwork, including a clean, Wisconsin title. Also included is the original trailer. Trailer just had NEW tires, new lights and new jack installed and is ready to use and pull. I have over 50 photos available of the boat and trailer and will provide all of these photos to potental buyers, who are serious about purchasing the boat. Boat is located in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin and you are welcome to view it directly anytime you want. Buyers can also store the boat for you, if you purchase it and would like to pick it up another time, if you are out of state. 64 Johnson Seasport 6/13/2023

 1964ish 17' Seasport for restoration. Located in Arden Hills Mn (Saint Paul) boat motor trailer, clean title. $1500. If anyone can take this on sooner than me I would sell this for what I've got into it. Plus offer any spare parts needed should I have them. Motor, intermediate, lower ect. I've decided to do the sportsman this summer so this rare boat is available to someone for restoration if interested. Transom good, floor and foam bad, motor untested

OMC complete outdrive 4/17/2023

 OMC Stringer Drive Electric Shift Outdrive.

Lower drive unit assembly has been rebuilt, and has not been used since.

It DOES need a new water pump, and possibly various washers, gaskets, etc., to be reassembled.

It was removed from a 1970 19� Johnson Surfer w/200hp, brackish water, electric shift, high profile, V-8 stern drive unit.

This unit is in good overall condition showing normal signs of age, usage and wear. The shift wire appears to be in good condition showing normal wear.

You may pick it up, or it�ll be shipped on a pallet for a calculated fee.
